Thank you for enrolling your daughter in Rooted & Resilient! This 6-week online course is designed to support her emotional well-being, creativity, and self-confidence. Hereโs everything you need to know to help her get the most out of this experience.
๐ง What to Expect Each Week
Each 60-minute session includes:
- A mindfulness or grounding activity
- A hands-on creative project (journal, bracelet, planting, etc.)
- Guided group reflection or journaling
- A take-home โSeed of the Weekโ to practice resilience
๐จ Basic Supplies to Gather
- Journal or notebook
- Colored pens, pencils or markers, scissors, tape & glue
- A care package will ship including: beads & string for bracelet making, soil & seeds for growing. Lavender satchel for calming.
๐ How You Can Support Your Daughter
- Create a quiet space for her during each session
- Encourage her to share what she made or learned
- Help gather materials ahead of time
- Praise her efforts and resilience, not just the outcome
- Model mindfulness and self-kindness in your own routines
